Botox

The Botox is one of the oldest preparations used in aesthetic medicine. For 20 years it has been used with great success also in other fields (treatment of bruxism or hyperhidrosis). The Botox is a purified botulinum toxin type A, which thanks to subcutaneous injection allows us to smooth and eliminate wrinkles. Botox treatments are one of the most popular treatments in aesthetic medicine - chosen by both women and men.

Botox is a botulinum toxin, which is a neurotoxin that inhibits the transmission of neuromuscular signals. Thanks to many years of research, scientists have managed to understand the mechanism of action of neurotoxin and successfully use it in therapeutic applications, also in aesthetic medicine.

The facial expressions after the botulinum toxin treatment are locally limited, i.e. deep wrinkles around the eyes are not formed with each smile. However, what is especially important, a well-performed treatment does not give the face an artificial look or change the facial features.
