Doctor, graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Warsaw; a certified doctor of aesthetic medicine, who obtained his diploma at the Postgraduate Education Center of the Medical University of Warsaw. He completed numerous internships and courses in the field of aesthetic and regenerative medicine, including one at the American Academy from Aestetic Medicine. International doctors trainer for the laser face and body lifting treatment – Endolift. Obesity counting specialist (obesitologist). Member of the group of certified doctors of the Polish Society for Research on Obesity. Registered British doctor with the General Medical Council.

As the scientist, he received his PhD degree in December 2020 at the Medical University of Silesia, and the topic of his work was "the study of the effectiveness of telemedicine support therapy for patients with schizophrenia in remission".

Graduate of the Leadership program at the Harvard Business School; at the Warsaw School of Economics, he completed postgraduate studies in marketing and studies in digital communication.

From 1997 he is working in the pharmaceutical industry. He cooperated with such companies as: Bioton, Adamed, Sanofi and TZF Polfa, successively going through various career stages: from a pharmaceutical representative to a marketing director.

In the European Parliament, he was a speaker at the session devoted to telemedicine (2016). The first Polish lecturer at the EyeforPharma Congress in Berlin 2006. A chairman and speaker of multiple industry events in Poland and abroad, incl. on Blue Business Media, Brave or Medmeetstech.

Mariusz Borkowski recognizes that new technologies provide medicine not only with a chance to carry out effective treatments, but also to plan preventive actions. When working with his patients, he always looks a few steps ahead, thinking about their future. He shares his experience and actively helps associations of patients in their daily struggles.

For his activities, he was three times decorated by the Presidents of the Republic of Poland with the Cross of Merit - bronze, silver and gold.

Privately, a lover of running (he ran the New York marathon) and calisthenics. In his free time, he travels. Doctor Borkowski is interested in modern art, contemporary painting, theater and electronic music. Member of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. Author of "Medically aesthetic" podcasts available on popular platforms: YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts.
